1. Active (not empty) option _MAINTENANCE_MODE (in configuration file (/common/config/config.inc.php) ).

2. Save IntraMessenger database by phpMyAdmin..

3. Rename actualy IntraMessenger directory to temporarily save files (example : /intramessenger_bak/).

4. Unzip last archive intramessenger.zip, downloaded from the official website in root dir (or another) of the web server.
This create a new directory intramessenger witch contains files of the last version.

5. Rename /admin/ folder.

6a. Copy files from old /config/ folder (/intramessenger_bak/common/config/)
to directory /intramessenger/common/config/ to keep configuration.

6b. Do same to folder : /distant/avatar/ (if usage).

6c. Do same to folder : /distant/log/.

6d. If you are using extern authentication, copy old values form file
/common/config/extern/***.config.inc.php in the single file : /common/config/extern.config.inc.php
:!: Be careful option $table_prefix has been changed to $extern_prefix .

7b. To automatic add new options,
clic on button "Update options" :

7c. and valid in next screen.

8. To automatic update database changes,
clic on links "Update now" :

9. You can now import (in database ) and delete after files ban_nickname [1] and ban_ip [2]
and create link im_setup.reg [3] :

10. Migration is now almost complete,
go to admin panel to update (new) options :

11. Delete folder /install/

12. Delete folder /intramessenger.sav/

13. Empty option _MAINTENANCE_MODE (in configuration file (/common/config/config.inc.php) ).
